Today our preschool group met again and I got to be the teacher this time. I was so excited to teach the kids about Fall and leaves. My goal was to teach the letter 'L' as we discussed the leaves falling from the trees. We painted the letter L, we made the letter L out of playdoh, we made the letter L out of wood sticks. We read three books about the season of Fall and we even acted out a song about Autumn leaves falling down. We made a "Leaf Man" out of leaves and acorns fashioned after a book we read sharing the same title. All the kids seemed to enjoy it except my son. I think he cried or complained about 75% of the time he was in there. I guess it's hard having Mommy as the teacher. He was having one of those "I'll do it myself" days where no one else is allowed to help him which made it quite difficult to complete some of the tasks without having a total meltdown. At least my other two children were well behaved. Coop slept the whole time and Caroline had a dirty face and a smile so she must have enjoyed playing with the boys.
On a side note ~ Coop belly laughed yesterday for the first time. I don't ever remember the other two laughing this early. He is such a good baby!

I love seeing your pre-school stuff. You are the super star teacher with all te things you do. Ethan thinks you are great (so does his mom. And I bet if someone asked Connor, he'd say he loves his mommy being his teacher
This was such a great day for Josie! She showed everybody "Leaf Man." It was family night at Mama's and they all got educated on the leaves falling. Thank you for being so good to my girl. I love watching her learn and really enjoy herself. You are such an amazing teacher! I absolutely cannot wait until PUMPKINS!!!!
Oh, and Cooper is the dream child! I've never seen anything like it in all my 31 years of living. I want to hear that boy belly laugh. He's soooooo good!
