Connor's 3rd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Connor's 3rd birthday. We decided to have a few friends & family gather together at Lake Idamere Park in Tavares. It is called a boundless park because it is capable of handling handicap children. Craig, Connor & I got there a few minutes early to set up and as I was unloading the goodies I could hear a child bawling over on the swingset. So I went to investigate and come to find out he was accidently left at the park. He was crying so hard that I about lost it myself. So throughout Connor's party we were trying to contact his mom and eventually had to get the police involved. It had a happy ending but I know for sure we were meant to be there that day at that time. The moms at our party were so caring and nuturing and I am just overwhelmed at the love everyone gave that little boy. So anyways Connor's party was rainy and majorly humid but it was fun. The kids seemed to have a good time on the play equipment and playing with each other. Connor sure racked up on the gifts. But the one gift we had to try out when we got home was his new and first bike. He was so tired that he mostly fought all our help and he just shouted over and over again "Let me do it." So it might be a while before he actually can pedal his bike because he doesn't want any help. Welcome to the trying threes!

Happy Birthday little man. Tell him I loved his company in Kung Fu Panda...at moments, I was enamored with him more than the movie...I loved sitting with him. He is a sweet boy. Happy 3's.
